Scampers Choice uses a unique roasting process that kills mold, mildew and many mycotoxins.   Roasting also takes the hard outer shell out of the digestive equation which speeds absorption of nutrients to horses.  It is easy to digest, thus reducing the amount of gastric acid needed to break down the food, which can help eliminate the occurrence of body soreness and stomach ulcers.  The feed is digested before it gets to the cecum; therefore, it avoids the primary cause of grain colic.

Scampers Choice is balanced proportionally between fat and protein levels which minimize any negative impact the energy source can have on a horse’s attitude.  Scampers Choice does not make a horse “high” it allows consistency for stamina; very little molasses added.

Scampers Choice has Vitamins, Minerals, Biotin along with Pro Biotic added in balanced amounts.  Feeding correctly helps build the horses’ immune system. No additional vitamins or minerals are required for a normal healthy horse.  Additives should only be included at the direction of your veterinarian.  This grain does not include joint supplement or electrolytes.  You can feed it to all ages of horses, broodmares and foals.

Scampers Choice was developed for competition horses, however, it is attractive to the older and younger horse because it is easily chewed and digested.  Scampers Choice is processed so you get the most nutritional absorption possible.  Less grain has to be fed because the horse utilizes more of the grain; most horses eat 1/3 less from what they currently eat.  An average horse eating 4 pounds per day needs 3 bags per month, (a large coffee can weighs 2 pounds).
