Hello,

Wow, we have really had some nice jackpots.

v Thank you to the Cole family for a nice jackpot and food booth in Warroad.

v We had 2 shows at the Littlefork Saddle Club thanks Soni, Suzzett and Bonnie.

v Then our last show in Lake of the Woods Fair in Baudette Fair with 350.00 added thank you Millers’ and Larsons’ family for getting the added money and for the help.

Thank you to everybody that has jumped in and helped with the jackpots. We couldn’t have done it with out you help. If you are in the area stop in and tell the sponsors thanks.

We have some new members so I would like to welcome them. If you see somebody you don’t know at the jackpots please introduce yourself so they can become part of our barrel racing family. If anybody has a question please feel free to ask, call or email.

STATE FINALS

You should have received the NBHA MN State Finals Entries. If you didn’t please contact me and I will mail it out to you. I will also email a copy out if I have your email address.

You must have competed at a minimum of three (3) NBHA Sanctioned shows for points in the district you compete in, between the dates of January 1 2006 to present. If you have not please contact me and we will try to figure something out. We still have a few shows left.

Entries must be post marked by August 5^th, 2006 in order to be included in the program draw. Entry fees must be paid before you will be allowed to compete at the NHBA State Championship show.

If you want to stall together you must send in your entries together in the same envelope. I talked to Allison and I asked if we put District 5 on the top right corner if we could be stalled together since stalls are going to be assigned. She said she would try to make sure we are together. Last year most of us were together and it is nice to be together so we can help watch out for each other.

Once again we are in charge of the 3^rd barrel. Please just step right in and help. Besure to watch how the stake is so we don’t have to rerun because somebody put the barrel on the wrong side of the stake.

We will have a potluck for our district family and friends at the state finals on Saturday night at 6:00pm. I will bring sloppy joes and buns. Please feel free to bring your own chair, drinks and a dish to pass. If you are riding at that time please stop by later.
